Valarie Welsh

Valarie is a certified birth doula, Lamaze childbirth educator, and lactation counselor. She is also a wife, a mother of four, and co-founder of the San Antonio Birth Network. She offers birth services in the greater San Antonio area. Through her journey into motherhood, the doula in her was also born. In an earlier chapter of her life she was a technical writer and a microelectronic engineer. She now combines her love of good scientific research, with her deep appreciation for the transcending power of child bearing. She understands and shares the overlap of “the science and spirit”of birth.
